The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Apprehensions At The Time Of Storms

It is narrated by Hadhrat Aisha Radhi Allah anhaa that whenever a strong wind blows and with it brings dense clouds, our beloved prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam would turn pale and numb by the fear of Allah subhana watala. He would become restless and he would become anxious. In that state he would recite the following prayer:
اَللّھُمَّ اِنّی اَساَلُکَ خَیرَھَا وَ خَیرَ مَا فِیھَا وَ خَیرَ مَا اَرسَلتَ بِہ وَ اَعُوذُ بِکَ مِن شَرِّھَاوَ شَرِّ مَا فِیھا وَ شَرِّ مَا اَرسَلتَ بہ۔(مسلم،ترمذی)
"0, my Allah! I ask of Thee the good out of this wind, the good out of that which is in this wind, and the good out of that which is the outcome of this wind. I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of this wind, from the evil out of that which is in this wind, and from the evil out of that which is the outcome of this wind"
On this account, she further adds,
“and further if it began to rain, signs of delight appeared on his face. I said to him once,”o, Prophet of Allah when clouds appeared everybody is happy as clouds foretell rain, but why is it that I see you so perturbed at that time?”
TO this Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wassalam replied, ”O, Aisha!, how can I feel secure that this wind doesn’t portend Allah's wrath? The people were punished with the wind. They were happy when they saw the dense clouds gathering, and believing that they brought rain, but actually, they brought no rain but utter destruction to A’ad.
At this very moment prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was referring to following verses of quran:
"Then, when they (A'ad) beheld a dense cloud coming toward their valleys, they said: "Here is a cloud bringing us rain." Nay, but it is that very calamity which you did seek to hasten, a wind wherein is a grievous penalty, destroying all things by commandment of its Lord. And morning found them so that nought could be seen, save their dwellings. Thus we treat the guilty folk." (XLVI: 24 & 25) Look at the fear of Allah SWT in the heart of prophet Sallallahu alaihi wassalam who himself is his best of all creation. Despite a clear verse in Qur'an in which Allah SWT says not to punish the people as long as prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam is with them. The Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) said: "Fear of Allah is the root of all wisdom"
Prophet Sallaho alaihi wasallam had so much fear of Allah in him that even a strong wind reminds him of the punishment awarded to the people in the past.
Now let us peep into our hearts for a moment. Although we all are fully saturated with sins and yet none of the unusual phenomena like an earthquake, lightning, flood etc., arouses the least fear of Allah in our hearts and instead of observing salat and Istighfar, we only indulge ourselves in absurd investigations.
Even in the time of this pandemic, we are more interested in other stuff instead of observing prayers and salat for the victims.
